Call and Response
The art app ”Call and response” is an interactive video adaption of the art work ”The object is performance”, 2011 made in connection to Erik Aalto’s exhibition ”Antidote” at Magasin 3.
The release of the art apps ”Call and response” and ”Men That Fall”celebrates Performancexhibition at Magasin 3, Spring 2011 for which curator Richard Julin has invited a number of artists to produce work that lands somewhere between performance and exhibition.
The Swedish artist Erik Aalto perhaps best known as his alter ego Sir Eric Beyond, has been treading the boundaries between performance and music for many years while maintaining his own artistry as Erik Aalto.
