Timothy Garton Ash, Professor of European Studies in the University of Oxford, Isaiah Berlin Professorial Fellow at St Antony’s College, Oxford, and a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University.
Andrew J. Nathan, Class of 1919 Professor of Political Science at Columbia University, New York, teaching and research interests include Chinese politics and foreign policy and human rights.
Moderator: Dominic Ziegler, London-based Asia editor of The Economist and the magazine’s former China correspondent. He has written a number of investigative reporting on topics such China’s rise and impact on the rest of the world.
