From the press release, 1994: group exhibition featuring art by Lynda Benglis, Christian Boltanski, John Chamberlain, Walter De Maria, Jan van Munster, James Lee Byars, Sol Lewitt, Robert Therrien and Richard Tuttle.
Curator: David Neuman.
All of the works are from Magasin 3 Stockholm Konsthall's collection, and testify to the growing interest in a broader concept of sculpture in contemporary art since the 1960s. Magasin 3 Stockholm Konsthall's collection was founded along with the institution in 1987, and supports its aim of active participation in the current cultural scene by introducing new artists and supporting artistic endeavour. "After Construction" is the first group exhibition at Magasin 3 Stockholm Konsthall, and marks the first exhibition since the gallery was rebuilt and extended through three new spaces and additional gallery floorspace totalling 1,200 m2.
