PROGRAM 2005 (JUNE 2–OCTOBER 2, 2005)
JURGEN BEY, MARTI GUIXÉ, ANNA KOCH, STINA NORDENSTAM

Magasin 3 Projekt 2005 presented four people from completely different disciplines. They work in ways that take their respective fields a step further and expand them beyond definitions. Jurgen Bey (Rotterdam) and Marti Guixé (Barcelona), both designers, presented installations inside the building and in the garden. Choreographer and dancer Anna Koch (Stockholm) and music artist Stina Nordenstam (Stockholm) presented new works. Starting with the signification of dust, Jurgen Bey created a series of overlapping installations with objects made of unexpected materials. Marti Guixé made a Catalan design museum with his own works, which, as an illegal street market, took over the exhibition space. Anna Koch is interested in the manifestation of thought in movement. In her work, which continued to develop throughout the summer, visitors and invited dancers formed part of the choreography. Stina Nordenstam presented a sound installation in the gazebo at Djurgårdsbrunn. It was a mixture of documentary narrative and fiction, combined with newly composed music. The work dealt with catastrophes, traumas, UFOs and love.

Magnus Ericson, curator and project manager of Magasin 3 Projekt and Richard Julin, curator Magasin 3 Stockholm Konsthall put together the program for 2005.
