LG Lundberg

LG Lundberg was born in 1938 in Malmö. He lives and works in Stockholm and on Smådalarö in the Stockholm archipelago. Since the mid-1960s, he has been exhibiting at museums, and galleries. His solo and group exhibitions have primarily appeared in the Nordic countries but also include Belgium, France, Monaco, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, and Germany.

In 2004, LG Lundberg had a solo exhibition Fences at what was then called the Magasin 3 Stockholm Konsthall. Fences exhibitions were also shown at Norrbottens museum, Luleå; Örnsköldsviks konsthall; Sundsvalls museum; Kristianstads konsthall and at Finnish museums Kemi Konstmuseum; Uleåborgs konstmuseum; the Ostrobothnian Museum and the Wäinö Aaltonens konstmuseum, Åbo.

Between 2009 and 2015, he showed three retrospective exhibitions, Impact 1-3, at Bohusläns museum; Kulturens hus Luleå and Ronneby konsthall.

LG Lundberg was nominated for the Carnegie Art Award in 2014, and in the fall of 2013, his works were presented in an exhibition at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Stockholm.

LG Lundberg is represented at several museums, among them Moderna Museet, Stockholm; Magasin III Museum for Contemporary Art, Stockholm; Bonniers porträttsamling, Stockholm; Malmö konstmuseum; Alvar Aalto Museum, Jyväskylä; Moderna Museet, Tampere and Sørlandets Kunstmuseum/the Tangen Collection, Kristiansand.
